Quite often the question is raised, "What can I expect when attending one of the services at Community Gospel Church?"  There is no specific answer to that question. However, there are a few things you can count on.

First of all, you can count on being welcomed by warm and friendly members of the congregation.  We strive to make everyone feel "at home."  Jesus said the world would know we are Christians by our love.  Since He has shared the love of God with us, we have the responsibility to share that love with others.

You can expect to be in the presence of Jesus.  The Lord said that where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name, He would be in their midst.  Not only do we gather in His name, we take time to lift up and worship Him.  There are various ways we encourage the congregation to participate in praise and worship.  There are folks who waive flags, dance, sing, cry, shout, or simply are still in honor and reverence to God.  Everyone is encouraged to participate in some way and to have a personal encounter with the Lord.

You can expect to hear an inspiring and anointed message from the Word of God.  Yes, we still preach the Word!  Messages are geared to strenghten and encourage the Body of Christ and to invite unbelievers to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
Finally, if you come expecting - whatever it may be - you will receive.  We take the Word of God seriously when we are told if we ask in His name, it will be done.  So, I guess the best thing we can say is what Phillip told Andrew, the woman at the well told the entire city, and what so many have said since then - "Come and see!"
