Schave Ministries

"For Such A Time As This" is the story of the birthing of an incredible ministry.  Evelyn Schave was one of those preachers from the "old school" condemning everything from make up (yes, even on women) to men with long hair - not to mention the "H" word.  But something wonderful happened ... "God got a hold of her".  Evelyn and her husband Dennis have changed their message to one of love and acceptance focusing on the GLBT community.  Who would have thought a couple from the Pentecostal denomination would end up as Honorary Grand Marshals for the Gay Pride Parade?  "For Such A Time  As This" is the story of how this ministry began and how far they have come.  While the initial printing of the book was several years ago, additional pictures and captions have given it a new life.
If you would like your copy of "For Such A Time As This", please send your name and address with your request to:

We are not charging a fee for the book, but proceeds from donations will go for printing and shipping costs.  All funds above these costs will go to Schave Ministries.

From The Field ...

Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

Dennis and I report great victory as we have seen god do great and mighty works in the lives of so many people.  People who have felt they could not be partakers in the move of God for this hour.  Many have been restored and renewed as the power of the Holy Ghost gave them new hope and victory in their lives.  We say, "Praise God!!!"

March 19th through the morning of the 21st, we were in Atlanta at New Covenant Church with pastors Randy and Johnny.  What a move of God we had.  Many people came for prayer declaring they want God to renew their ministry.  About 15 people received the Holy Ghost.  One man came up for prayer three times.  He said, "I want more, I want it all".

Pastor Brian Grizzle and Evelyn

Sunday evening March 21st, we were in Clayton, GA with Pastor Brian and Brother Ed.  Again, God showed up and showed out!

March 26th through the morning of the 28th, we were in Dayton, OH Community Gospel with Pastor Sam Kader and Brother Jerry.  In this meeting, a lady in a wheelchair said she had been in a coma.  The doctor said she would not recover.  She was in church and wanted prayer for her left arm and left let, because she was unable to use them.  After prayer, she got up out of her wheelchair and stood for the first time in 11 years!
That evening, we were at the Open Door Church in Maraine, OH with pastors Mark and Lee.

With my hand up in Dayton!
City of Refuge

March 31st through April 4th found us in Louisville, KY at the City of Refuge, where Randy Meadows is the pastor.

May 27th through the 30th, we were at SpiritFest in St. Louis.  If you missed SpiritFest, you missed a mighty move of God.  Every service was dynamic.  There were great speakers each service.
I spoke Saturday evening.  After ministering to the pastors present, I felt led to pray for those who had not received the infilling of the Holy Ghost.  At least 10 to 15 people received the Holy Ghost.  One lady that received the Holy Ghost told me she used to be a Morman.

Folks from Grace Fellowship in Dallas had been on a 31 day fast.  They have seen several people accept the Lord.  Many of them received the Holy Ghost Saturday evening.  One young man was a gang member and a drug dealer.  When he accepted the Lord, he was so excited he invited his friends to church.  This young man was one that received the Holy Ghost Saturday night.  Another young man who was recently saved, had tried to commit suicide, but God sp0ared his life.  He too received the Holy Ghost.  We priase God for the moving of the Holy Ghost!

We were in Mexico City with Pastor Ric Averell June 4th through the 6th.  The power of God was present at every service.  Every night, the building was packed.  People were so hungry for God.  Their attendance record was broken as the had 210 in church!  It was the 10th anniversary celebration of the church.  After Sunday morning service, the church had a banquet at one of their nice hotels.  Please remember to cover Pastor Ric with your prayers.

"I wouldn't take nothing for my journey now."  I am so glad to be a part of what God is doing in these times in which we live. "God whatever You do, don't leave me out!"
