There are many opportunities for folks to get involved in the ministries of the church. If you are or will be a member, here are some areas of service you may be interested in. There will be sign up sheets at the congregational forum on April 20th. If for some reason you cannot attend the forum, please see the person in charge of the various teams to get plugged in!

PRAYER TEAM MEMBER Sis. Pat - facilitatorThe prayer team is a vital ministry of the church. Of course the primary duty of a team member is to pray for the church, specifically that God would add to the church those who are to be saved. The prayer team is also responsible for urgent prayer requests received by phone, the website, or the prayer request box. These requests are sent out either in an email or by phone to team members. We are going to be initiating a new part of this ministry during this quarter. Team members may be asked to "follow up" on requests by calling or emailing the person requesting prayer. This way, they will not only know that their request has been prayed for; they will also know we are interested in their concerns. Every member of the congregation is assigned to various prayer team members. It is the team's duty to pray for their assignments on a daily basis. The prayer team has an evening prayer meeting on the last Friday night of each month here at the church. This helps everyone get "connected" and creates a wonderful atmosphere to pray. In summary, members of the prayer team are responsible for: · Praying for special requests · Prayer before Sunday morning service · Attending the monthly prayer meeting · Following up on prayer requests · Prayer for their assigned congregational members · Prayer for church leadership · Prayer for the church

MUSICIAN / SINGER
God has blessed our assembly with so many gifted and talented people. There are some who have been called to be part or the worship team and others have been called to do special music. If you are interested in either of these areas, Bro. Sven is the one to see.
As a member of the worship team, you would be responsible for:
- Leading the congregation into worship
- Being at scheduled practices
- Attending and participating in services
- Being open to musical guidance
As a person on the special music schedule, you are responsible for:
- Being prepared on your scheduled service
- Being as “transparent” as possible (letting the Lord minister through you and not making a big production of “look at me!”)
- If you are unable to attend the service you are to minister in, finding someone on the schedule to exchange services with you

| CLEANING
Nobody wants to come over to a dirty house! That is why keeping the House of God clean is such an important job. We currently do not have anyone to “head up” this group of volunteers. The leader of this committee would be responsible to schedule folks to clean, ensure they have the keys and codes to enter the building, and ensure there are adequate cleaning supplies. Volunteers for cleaning will be responsible for:
- Vacuuming the building
- Cleaning restrooms
- Dusting surface areas
- Mopping tile
- Keeping the church tidy and clean
