Welcome to the website of Community Gospel Church. We pray you will be enlightened, strengthened, and as we say in the south - plain ol' blessed! Pastors Christopher and Jonathon Wellington extend a warm invitation for you to join us for one of our services. Our service times are Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday evenings at 7:30. We also offer adult Sunday School at 9:30 Sunday mornings. We know you will experience the love of Jesus Christ here at Community Gospel.

Our new church is located at 608 Aurora.
From 45 North, take the 610 West exit. The first exit off of 610 will be N. Main/Yale. Exit there and turn left at the first light (N. Main). Go to Aurora St. (one block past 26th) and turn right. We will be a couple of blocks down on the left side of the street.
From 290, take 610 East. Go to the N. Main exit and turn right at the light. Continue on N. Main to Aurora St. and turn right. We are a couple of blocks down on the left side of the street.
From Montrose, take Montrose Blvd. north - (toward the Heights). The Street will change names to Studmont and again to Studewood. At 20th street intersection, veer slightly to the left to get on N. Main. Continue on N. Main until you get to Aurora (1 block past 25th Street). Turn left on Aurora. We will be couple of blocks down on the left side of the street.
PARKING IS VERY LIMITED IN THE LOT, BUT THERE IS QUITE A BIT OF ON STREET PARKING. PLEASE BE MINDFUL NOT TO BLOCK NEIGHBORHOOD DRIVEWAYS. |

| Do you have questions about Community Gospel? Have you ever wondered where we came from? What kind of structure is in place at the church? What exactly do we believe? All of these questions and more will be answered at our inquirer's / membership class Saturday, April 12th at 4:00. This casual and informative class is designed for those who want to know more about the church and/ or are interested in becoming members. We want to invite YOU to be a part of this exciting fellowship of believers. At the end of this 90 minute class, participants are given the opportunity to join the church. |

Sunday Evening Service Changes To 6:00
Beginning March 23rd, Resurrection Sunday, our evening service time will change to 6:00. We have had several requests to change the service to an earlier time to accomodate folks who have to get up early Monday morning and also from those with children who need to get their rest for school the next day. We believe the change will be beneficial.

| This sanctuary furniture is a real bargain for someone looking for quality. Pews were originally about $1k each. All 14 are in great shape. The pulpit, 2 kneelers, 4 platform chairs, and communion table are also available. $5000 for the entire set!
We also have folding chairs, a commercial 6 burner stove, ceiling fans, window unit air conditioners, lighting fixtures, 25 ton a/c condenser and air handler, and MANY other items. We will be having a HUGE sale in May. Stay tuned for further details! |

| JUNIOR CHURCH UP AND RUNNING! |
We are so very excited to announce junior church seems to be a tremendous success. After the praise and worship portion of the Sunday morning service, young people from the 1st through 6th grades are dismissed to go to their own service upstairs. There, they are taught a Bible lesson, have an activity to reinforce the lesson, memorize a verse of scripture and given "homework". For their efforts, they are awarded "Bible Bucks" to buy various rewards. It is exciting to see the young people telling their parents all about what is happening. I recently looked in the backseat of a car as folks were getting ready to leave and saw their two boys in the back seat already working on their assignments.
Sis. Angela and Sis. Kim are the junior church directors. Angela has years of experience teaching young people in the Christian school setting. Sis. Kim has a natural ability to reach out to the children of the church and is a huge asset to the ministry team. To ensure "safety" for the children, there are always be at least two adults who have passed background checks with them at all times. So parents, bring your family knowing they will not only be cared for, but taught the Word of God.
