Dennis Schave has been in service of the Lord for over 35 years. Dennis is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma. His degrees in Sociology, Psychology, and Bible Studies have paved the way for counseling and teaching ministries in both the secular and church worlds.
In addition to the office of Pastor, God has used Dennis in the offices of Deacon, Elder, Evangelist, and Teacher. He served several years as President of Western Washington Bible College and taught on the faculty there. |
Dennis was elected to the post of District Superintendent of a worldwide Pentecostal organization. He served at that post until his removal in 1990. The Board of Directors learned of the ministry to the Gay and Lesbian Nation to which God has brought Dennis and his wife Evelyn.
Dennis has worked as a professional counselor for over 25 years. Approximately half of that time, he was employed in the Youth Prison System of Washington State. He trained other professionals to be substance abuse counselors for the youth. Included in his counseling career was a time as the Director of a Substance Abuse Treatment Center. During most of those years, Dennis and Evelyn served as Pastors of a local church. |
| Dennis considers his major calling to be that of Teacher. He has taught at numerous conferences throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Several times a year, Dennis offers the members of Community Gospel the opportunity to attend a "New Life Bible Class". The course has been life changing for many of our congregants. Dennis has also taught courses on "Homosexuality and the Bible". The Schaves continue to travel as often as their schedule permits. Dennis is currently the Director of the Life Counseling Center. |
