I grew up in Pasadena, Texas and attended a United Pentecostal Church. I felt God's call to ministry at an early age, and one of my father's friends actually prophesied that I would one day be a preacher.
I graduated from high school in 1975, and I began attending Texas Bible college. After going to my classes during the week, I traveled around Texas and Louisiana with other students on the weekends holding crusades at various churches. I knew I was called to share God's Word.

For many years of my life, I wrestled with my own identity, and eventually left the church and the ministry behind because of my confusion and suicidal thoughts. In 1990, I made a decision which totally changed my life - I transitioned from male to female. Yes, I am a trans gendered woman!
Since then, God has been able to continue His work in my life. In May 2000 at Spirit Fest, I committed my life to God and for the first time, I truly had peace because I know that He loves me and is continuing to work in me and develop me into the person He intended for me to be all along.

In May 2005, God enriched my life with my partner June. June is a true woman of faith, and together we share God's love with everyone we meet. In august 2007, God led us to Community Gospel Church. June ministers as part of the worship team and God has restored me to the ministry of preaching and sharing His Word. Now I do it in true freedom. I have been set free from the chains of fear, doubt, and misunderstanding. Whom the Son has set free is free indeed! AMEN!
