Ministry Opportunities

If you are at our website because of the parade, festival, or other pride event, WELCOME!  We have been praying specifically for you.  You see, all of the preparation, money, effort, and energy that went into pride month was for one specific reason ... YOU.  We want you to KNOW that Jesus loves you.  Please take the time to look over our website and see what we are all about.  No matter what your background, sexual orientation, ethnicity, economic status, age, or marital status, we extend a sincere invitation for you to be a part of our assembly.  A very important woman, the Samaritan woman at the well, put it best ... "come and see!"

Thank God For Our Freedom!
I know it may be difficult to believe, but the 4th of July was not intended to be just another day to BBQ and eat.  It is a celebration of our independence and the men and women who fight to keep our freedom.  We at Community Gospel realize we all owe a debt of gratitude to our military.  One very special servicewoman is Nichole.  After graduating earlier this year, Nichole went off to the Marine boot camp.  After completing her initial training, she was able to come home for a few weeks before returning to duty.  When you thank God for the freedom we have in this country, remember to say a special prayer for Nichole and all of the other brave men and women who are serving in our armed forces.

Get Your Copy of "For Such A Time As This"

"For Such A Time As This" is the story of the birthing of an incredible ministry.  Evelyn Schave was one of those preachers from the "old school" condemning everything from make up (yes, even on women) to men with long hair - not to mention the "H" word.  But something wonderful happened ... "God got a hold of her".  Evelyn and her husband Dennis have changed their message to one of love and acceptance focusing on the GLBT community.  Who would have thought a couple from the Pentecostal denomination would end up as Honorary Grand Marshals for the Gay Pride Parade?  "For Such A Time  As This" is the story of how this ministry began and how far they have come.  While the initial printing of the book was several years ago, additional pictures and captions have given it a new life.
If you would like your copy of "For Such A Time As This", please send your name and address with your request to:

We are not charging a fee for the book, but proceeds from donations will go for printing and shipping costs.  All funds above these costs will go to Schave Ministries.
