Welcome to the website of Community Gospel Church. We pray you will be enlightened, strengthened, and as we say in the south - plain ol' blessed! Pastors Christopher and Jonathon Wellington extend a warm invitation for you to join us for one of our services. Our service times are Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday evenings at 7:30. Below are some of the upcoming events here at the church. We know you will experience the love of Jesus Christ here at Community Gospel.

It's that time of year again! Contribution letters will be mailed Monday, January 30th. However, they will be available this Sunday the 29th after service. If you have made charitable contributions to Community Gospel Church during 2010, they are deductible on your federal income tax. If there is an error on your statement, please contact us via email at cgospel@communitygospel.org. Please send a brief message as well as a contact number and the corrections will be made as quickly as possible. We do want to take a moment to thank everyone for your generosity and continued financial support of this ministry.

Because of our move, we have had to change phone service. The new service will not be available until the first part of February. If you need to reach us, we have 2 suggestions. First, talk to us at church before or after service! Not only will you get your questions answered, you can be there for a wonderful time in the Lord. The other suggestion would be to email us at cgospel@communitygospel.org. Email is checked several times during the day, so response time is much better than most other businesses. Your patience during this transition time is greatly appreciated!

Very Special Guest for 30th Anniversary!

On October 30th, we celebrated our 30th anniversary! To help us celebrate, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee joined us for service. She brought a proclamation from the U.S. House of Representatives honoring our church and the work done for the Kingdom of God over the past 30 years. As we mentioned in introducing Rep. Jackson Lee, no matter what your political views may be, her love and compassion for others is evident. As Ms. Jackson Lee addressed the crowd, we were all blessed by the Word she shared. Yes, I did mean the Word - not word - because quite frankly, that woman can preach! We want to extend a heart felt thank you to the Congresswoman for taking the time to share with us. By the way, why not take a moment right now to ask God to bless and guide Congresswoman Jackson Lee?

Our church is located at 10900 Northwest Freeway, Suite 208 Houston, TX 77092
From 610, go west on 290. Take the first exit - Mangum/Dacoma. Continue on the feeder road until you pass the Olive Garden and Captain Bennies. The next drive will be 10900. Please use the front entrance of the building. The facility is handicap accessible, has a ramp and elevator.
